**We do not do in person visits. With Covid we have to take precautions for our clients, puppies and ourselves.  All our depositors and new clients pick their puppy via video posted. We do not set up an in person visit to meet the puppy, just to pick up. We can call and talk over the temperament of the puppy/puppies to make sure they are a good fit. If you decide the puppy suits what you are looking for, we will set up a day/time for pick up.

Petite, Mini, Mini/Medium size: 1-12 months, depending on how flexible you are on sex/color/generation and size.

Petite to mini Hava-goldendoodles, Havadoodle/Havapoo

Bordoodles. F1, F1b. Border Collie markings and colors. Petite mini, Mini, medium (the size of a border collie).

Yes, we are taking deposits. Depending on what you are looking for we may have availability within 1-6 weeks. The more specific characteristics you are looking for the longer you may need to wait. No promise can be made today as to what litter you can choose a puppy from. All depositors may request from any litter born. Once the litter is 2 weeks old we establish the pick order, based on the seniority of depositors wanting that litter. A 6-10 month wait should be expected if you have very specific preferences. We have recently had several litters born so puppies may be available depending upon what you are open to.

How much is a Safari Doodle’s puppy?
All puppies, regardless of size, variety, color or sex are $3500. A deposit of $500 of that is paid up front to be placed on our master deposit wait list. $3000 remaining purchase price is due once your puppy is chosen at 8 weeks of age.

Types of litters Safari Doodles produce: 

GoldenDoodle= Golden Retriever + Poodle
F1 Goldendoodles: Standard size 45-65 lbs
F1 Goldendoodles: mini/medium size 25-45 lbs
F1b Goldendoodles: All sizes. Petite, Mini, Medium, Standard

F1= one parent is a Poodle  + one parent is a Golden Retriever

F1b= one parent is a Poodle + one parent is F1 Goldendoodle.  F1b puppies are 25% Golden Retriever + 75% Poodle

Double Doodle
Multi-Gen Double Doodles: All sizes. Petite, Mini, Medium, Standard. A Double Doodle is a blend of 2 varieties of Doodle breeds. Often this is a blend of Poodle + Golden Retriever + Labrador Retriever. We do this for more genetic diversity in high generation doodles, to reduce “line breeding”

Colors we produce:
We produce many solid colors and also Parti (white markings) in all the colors. Our most common colors of litters are shades that Golden Retrievers come in: cream, light golden, medium golden, dark golden and red. In addition we produce all shades of Chocolate, from Dark Chocolate down to Creamy (Parchment) Chocolate.  And the least produced colors we have are White, Black and Merle.

Heath & Raising protocol
All parents are fully health tested and certified with OFA, CERF and DNA. Parents (including Grandparents/ Great Grandparents) have testing and certification of Clear/Normal health for Hips and Elbows (no dysplasia) Heart, Eyes (by the ophthalmologist), Thyroid, Patellas and in good overall health.

Parents’ DNA is also tested Clear/Normal so insure your puppy can not inherit the following: PRA Progressive Retinal Atrophy (blindness), PRCD Progressive Rod-Cone Degeneration (blindness), Von Willdebrands 1 & 2 (hemophilia), Degenerative Myelopathy (Lou Gehrig’s Disease), Dystophic Epidermolysis Bullosa, GM2 Gangliosisdosis, Ichthyosis, Neonatal Encephalophay with Seizures, Ostepchondrodysplasia, Ostogenesis Inperfecta, Sensory Ataxic Neuropathy, Cystinuria, Centronuclear Myopathy, Elliptocytosis, Exercise-Induced Collapse, Hereditary Nasal Parakeratosis, Hyperuricosuria, Muscular Dystrophy, Myotubular Myopathy 1, Narcolepsy, Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency, Retinal Dysplasia/Osculoskeletal Dysplasia 1, Skeletal Dysplasia 2.

We give a 2 year written health guarantee. Puppies come to you up-to-date on deworming, flea & heartworm prevention, vet checked, raised by the “Super Puppy” method using ENS for the first two weeks, Volhard Temperament tested for a perfect placement, fed Life’s Abundance super premium dog food & raw food and NuVet Plus supplement, Micro chipped, imprinted to eliminate in the litter box, super socialized with children, raised in the house and pre-spoiled.

How the Pick Order/ Deposit process works:
Safari Doodles has been blessed with many referrals and repeat puppy buyers. Depositors may have to wait 4-12 months for a puppy based on how often we can produce that variety of Doodle and the popularity of that variety. God continues to bless us with healthy puppies, but we have no control over what mothers are able to get pregnant or how many puppies are born in each litter. Our mother dogs are pets first and we limit the amount of litters each girl has.

First, we review your answers on the Puppy Application and contact you by phone or email.

After deciding that a Safari Doodle puppy is a good choice for your home, you may put a $500 deposit to go on our master deposit list.

Depositors get access to a private page where they see when litters are born by . You tell us when you see a litter you want a puppy from.

Depositors are placed on a litter of interest in the order of seniority of deposits received. The more litters that pass the higher a depositors pick order seniority rises on a future litter. You may not have a high enough seniority of deposit to be on the first litter of interest.

Depositors are given 2 weeks to respond after a litter is announced. After the 2 week deadline we establish a pick order for that litter (based on the seniority of deposits). If you are not happy with your pick number for your litter of interest, you may move off that litter and wait on a future litter of interest.

Choices of puppies are made at 8 weeks of age and puppies go home on that day or soon after. We send puppies home on Thursday & Friday. On pick up day we hand your previously chosen puppy (by video/phone) outside of our McKinney Texas home in the open air. We are taking precautions to help everyone stay safe.
Due to the Pandemic, we are choosing puppies via videos and phone conversations.  Depositors are given a phone consultation  appointment in order of their pick order for that litter. Choice of puppy are made over the phone after watching the videos. On puppy choosing day we help you make the choice by discussing the professional interpretation of each puppy’s Volhard temperament test results and our opinion of each pup’s temperament after living with them.  If a good choice is not available in that litter we will forward your deposit to a future litter. Deposits are nonrefundable but they are transferable to future litters.
