Recipes: Fresh Dog Food

These are meals we rotate at the Safari Doodles Ranch. The key to feeding raw/cooked is variety each week. An adult dog doesn’t need a “Balanced meal” every day. Dogs thrive with a variety of foods to meet their nutritional needs over the course of a week. Chicken Leg/Thigh quarter. Fed RAW. Do not cooked bones that you feed your dog. Raw chicken bones are chewy and easy to crunch without any bone shards. Cooked bones splinter! Raw chicken can be fed a few meals a week for an economical and healthy diet. Note: some dogs need a lower fat diet. We take off the skin when feeding those dogs! We suggest you also give these 2 NuVet supplements most days of the week. We usually take a day off from supplements every 3-4 days.

Ground Turkey. Cooked or Raw. You can use turkey in place of chicken or beef in the above recipes. Or give as a stand alone meal.
